The combination of an intimate City Hall ceremony with a swanky lounge reception for family and friends later that night is what inspired this board. The decor of the fabulous Viceroy Palm Springs helped, too. Striped stationery, a square cake, and thickly-petaled ranunculus add to the mod vibe.

Last week I hiked in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. We stayed overnight in an amazing cabin perched on the edge of a ravine {for $12 a night, I might add!} and this was the view we woke up to: frothy clouds swirling around the mountains and piling up over their peaks. Amazing.

I might try out some new recipes this weekend, and doesn’t this kitchen look like a lovely place to work? Have a restful few days, friends!

The peonies in my garden seem to have burst into bloom overnight, which reminded me of how much I love peonies in bouquets and centerpieces.
