June in June: Volume 3

6 September 2018

Each installment of June in June is ridiculously precious to me, but this one is particularly fun because of the trips we took this summer. Between our Connecticut and Maine visits, there are so many beloved people and places included in this year’s movie! As always, though, the best parts are the tiniest ones, the ones I’d easily forget if we didn’t capture them: her love for smelling flowers and watering plants, the way she wiggles her hand when she wants us to hold it, her blueberry picking flair, and her beaming smile, always and everywhere.

I hope you enjoy this little peek into our ordinary and beautiful life together, friends!

This is wonderful — definitely tucking this idea away for when my husband and I start our family. You hit the nail on the head – video can capture the tiniest moments that are always the sweetest, and sometimes so easily forgotten! We went back and forth deciding whether to hire a videographer for our wedding, and I’m so glad we did for that very reason! So many sweet moments I missed and still photos couldn’t capture. Thanks for all you share with us, Em!

I wasn’t sure if I’d like the idea of video – I think it can easily be forgotten, but this is precious!! Won me over. Also, you look beautiful in that navy blue dress!

Emily! This is so sweet. With all this cuteness, I may just have to pick up a Mae in May version for our family ;)
Also, two practical questions–what do you use to capture most of these clips? The quality is so good!
Do you have plans to do a yearly video like this for Shep? Just curious! xo.

This is adorable! Any chance you could share where your blue dress is from in the wedding video? I will be 5 months pregnant in December at a family wedding and have been having trouble finding proper attire. Thanks!
