Puffin in Bloom

4 September 2014

Have y’all SEEN the new Puffin in Bloom books by Rifle Paper Co? They are perfection.

I love almost everything Anna does, and these books are no exception. I think they’re even prettier than the Penguin Classics! Anne of Green Gables is one of my very favorite books (I made an inspiration board here!), and I also love A Little Princess. I actually don’t think I’ve ever read Heidi or Little Women, so I guess that gives me an excuse to buy the books! :) They’re definitely going on my Christmas list.

All four books are available on Rifle’s site for $16 or for about $11 on Amazon.

P.S. All of these photos are from Anna’s instagram stream – so neat to see the paintings that became the covers!

P.P.S. My brother-in-law is Anna’s literary agent! So proud of him, too :)

What a fun connection you have to this project! :) My sweet mother in law knew that my sister and law and I were obsessed with these… so the day they came out she texted me “order them on my card for Santa!!!” :) I’m so excited to see them in person, such a beautiful heirloom item!

Just ordered all 4 – these covers are absolutely to die for! Can’t wait to relive my childhood and then display these beauties.

Love them! But my problem is that I have well-worn paperback copies of all of them from when I was younger. I don’t think I can get rid of them, there are too many memories in those pages. Maybe I can get these new copies for a future daughter that can be hers. And how cute would they look displayed in a nursery?

I LOVE these new covers, too, and I also wrote a blog post about them last week. They are so beautiful!!! Anne of Green Gables, A Little Princess, and Little Women are three exceptional books (I don’t think I’ve ever actually read Heidi!), and I can’t wait to own these!

These are beautiful! I geeked out when I saw them on her IG. I’ve decided they would make the perfect coffee table novels and I want them all!

What? You’ve never read Little Women? I am shocked! You will love it. I wish we could have a book club that had us go back and read old classics from our childhood. I am sure there are plenty of good classics that I never read and MANY more that I would gladly re-read!!

Anne of Green Gables is one of my absolute favorites as well! I mean, with quotes like this, who could not love it?!?
“I won’t say another word- not one. I know I talk too much, but I am really trying to overcome it, and although I say far too much, yet if you only knew how many things I want to say and don’t, you’d give me some credit for it.”
Oh, Anne with an e, you are as wonderful as you always hoped you would be!
And, Em, I love the idea of adding these to a Christmas list! I hope to give and receive them this holiday season!

LOVE! We are so excited to see this project come to fruition. Heidi was my book report in the fourth grade, for which I baked a basket of dinner rolls from scratch!

Kristin, I am totally down for a book club, especially if these Rifle books are required :)
