June 2015 Goals
No post for ten days then no goals posted on the first of the month? Y’all must have thought I fell off the face of the planet! In fact I am still kicking, just busy traveling! As I mentioned last month, I have one more busy month ahead (this one), and then the rest of the summer should be more relaxing – whew!
Revisiting my goals for May:
Get back into a good exercise routine, working out three times a week. Yes! Did a much better job with this this month.
Finish planning our France trip. Well, seeing as we’re just a few days away from departure, I’m going to call it planned. Hoping we can do a little more parsing of Provence and the coast before D-Day.
Buy a crossbody bag before our trip. Yes! On Sunday… hoping it arrives in time!
Build flower bed along our back fence. This one we ended up tabling. We’ve been waffling on whether to do a more wholesale renovation of the backyard. At the beginning of the month, when I set these goals, we were leaning away from it, but now we are leaning toward it. If we’re going to do it, we don’t want to spend the money on what will eventually be torn out, so we’re holding off for now.
June goals:
— Enjoy our France trip to the fullest! Eat baguettes, walk Parisian streets, break out our language skills, admire the fields of Provence, etc., etc.!
— More travel: Virginia, Connecticut, and Kentucky!
— Celebrate Father’s Day, older sister’s birthday, and younger sister’s graduation with my family
— Have lunch dates with two dear friends
— Replace my everyday bag while in France (no. 40!)
If you’ve posted your goals somewhere, I’d love to see – or just drop them in the comments!
I love reading goals! Enjoy your trip- can’t wait to hear about it! Here are my goals: http://www.createbakecelebrate.com/2015/06/june-2015-goals.html
Visit Kentucky!? yay! I hope y’all are doing a shoot here. It’s a beautiful state.
Great goals! My main goal for June is to finish this semester strong so that I don’t have (too much) last minute study sessions going on during finals month aka July.
What’s your everyday bag right now and what do you hope to replace it with in Paris?
Love your goals! So jealous you’ll be eating baguettes and walking the streets of France. Enjoy your trip!
I can’t wait to see photos from your trip to Paris and the new replacement for your everyday bag! June certainly sounds like a marvelous month for you.

Which cross shoulder bag did you go with? I need one that zips…thanks!
Have a wonderful time in France! Sounds strange in France rather than Italy, but I literally cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough http://www.pizzachic.fr/ – best pizza of my life and that is a high claim indeed.

I always like seeing your upcoming travel in your goals, but I wish I could go with you to France, too! :)
@Emily I ended up buying this one from Zappos: http://www.zappos.com/roxy-globe-trotter-crossbody-bag-redwood. It has not arrived yet, so I can’t give you too much in the way of a review! However, my dear friend just gifted me a Kate Spade cross body, so the Zappos one might be getting returned anyway! :)
@Elizabeth I may be there on SW business… :)
@Kristina My everyday handbag is a small black Longchamp. I’m going to replace it with another small Longchamp, but I’m currently debating between black, navy, or another color!
So exciting! France! Oh my goodness. My June goals are not quite as exciting, but I am starting an online accountability program for Christian chicas, so I’m really excited about that! http://dianakerr.com/june-goals-2015/
I love my Longchamp bags and have them in various colors and sizes. Navy is my favorite color so I always think that’s a good choice but my everyday Longchamp bag right now is olive green and I love it. It transitions well from one season to another and basically goes with every outfit. Please share what you end up picking :)
