May 2015 Goals
I’m looking at two more big months of travel, friends, including this one, and then my schedule will calm down a bit! Trips to Charlottesville, Charleston, and Wilmington/Bald Head Island are on the docket for the next few weeks. I’m still going to try and squeeze in a bit of little by little progress around the edges, with my biggest goal being to get back into a regular workout routine. (We were doing well in January and February, but then the busy hit…)
Revisiting my goals for April:
Rehabilitate my passed-down luggage rack
Buy an exercise ball for sitting on (sometimes) at work
Set new daily habits and get back into the daily habit habit
Invite two friends to do things with us (invited one!)
Build flower bed along our back fence
May goals:
— Get back into a good exercise routine, working out three times a week
— Finish planning our France trip!!
— Buy a crossbody bag before our trip (any recommendations?)
— Build flower bed along our back fence (hoping we can check this one off since my Dad is coming to visit!)
If you’ve posted your goals somewhere, I’d love to see – or just drop them in the comments!
Would love to read about your progress on flower bed :)
Sounds like a dreamy May – you’re visiting three of my very favorite places on earth! Happy May!
I’m with you on the busy season/travels… therefore letting exercise (and cooking, for me!) fall behind. Once the middle of May hits, I’ll have slightly more time to focus on those things. Isn’t it refreshing, though, that a busy schedule filled with GOOD things isn’t all that exhausting?! At least that’s how I’m embracing it!

I am so jealous of everyone who’s going to Charleston–talk about the holy Southern city! I’ll be traveling a lot, but in my own state–I’m touring a children’s opera in May! So busy, busy, busy!
What sort of flowers are you going to plant along your fence? I’ve had bulbs in a basket for quite some time and am only NOW getting around to planting them. Sigh.

When is dad coming to visit? We can do a meal if there is time.
I bought this bag for Europe a few years ago, and it’s been the absolute best! The whole flap is a zipper, so you can put your wallet and passport and anything else a pickpocket could easily grab in that compartment, and then the main compartment fits a camera and a Rick Steves books among other things. :-) Have fun!

Hi Em – can you share any insight/wisdom about your getting back into the habit habit? I am always curious as to how others push themselves back into the swing of things once they have fallen out of the routine. :) Happy May!
I haven’t quite mastered getting my monthly goals posted by the first, but the last three months have been on the fifth or sixth so at least I’m showing consistency! :)
We are also looking to get our exercise on this month. Here’s to healthy goals!

P.S. Thanks for the tip from April to keep goals to a manageable list that is not overwhelming. Very helpful! xo!
