Minted Christmas Cards
First and foremost: If you haven’t already, make sure you VOTE today!! It is an honor and an obligation!
Believe it or not, I’m starting to think about Christmas cards! In the past we’ve sent out handmade cards (which I loved doing — see here, here, and here!), but I’m excited to send out our first photo card this year! Minted was the obvious choice, and today I’m rounding up a few of our favorites for y’all to give your thoughts on! Here are our top five choices:
Yep, there’s another wedding photo peek, this time by Tanja Lippert! Above:
1. A Wonderful Life | 2. Big Joy | 3. Merriest | 4. Joyful Season | 5. Simple Joy
Clearly, I have a prejudice towards typographic designs! I love that Minted’s “filter by style” tool is actually useful, with categories like hand drawn, monogram, modern, etc. – AND they’ve categorized the designs well, too! If you’re into such things, make sure you check out the new die-cut shapes available this year, as well.
Minted is also running a Holiday Inspiration Board Challenge right now (fun!), and since I’ll take any excuse to make an inspiration board, I put this one together:

You can find details for entering your own inspiration board here!
We’ve still got a bit of tweaking to do, but tell me: which Christmas card design is your favorite? I’d love to hear!
Minted has graciously gifted us our Christmas cards, but I chose to write this post, and the opinions are my own! I have loved everything about Minted — especially their crowd-sourced designs — for many years, and I love sharing what they’re up to with y’all.
I love #1, but I love anything the references one of my favorite movies of all time. I like 4 as well, but that photo is so lovely I would keep it as big as possible.
Such a nice picture of you two!
I vote for 1, 3, and 4 – I like the type best on 4! My roommate votes for 1 and 4. Cute!
I like number 3! It is apparently much easier to choose a card for someone else than it is for me, since I’ve been working on ours for about 4 weeks. Minted really does have some beautiful choices!
Beautiful picture!!!
My vote 1 and 3. I like 5 too but I wish the picture was vertical.
I love Number 3 and my second pick is number 1. And that image is hands-down amazing!!!!
Number 4!
And I am DYING to see more photos! Eeeep!
Pretty, pretty!! But if I had to pick one, I would go with It’s a Wonderful Life :)
I love #1 (because my FAVORITE Christmas movie is “A Wonderful Life”) and #4 because I think it’s totally your style, Em!
GORGEOUS photo! I can only hope to be half as beautiful on my own wedding day!
Best of luck!
Well first of all, I am freaking out over the gorgeousness of this picture!!! You both look incredible and so happy!
As for Christmas cards, I love #1. So festive and appropriate for your life this year :)
I love # 1, but all of them are great! I’ll definitely have to check out Minted…
I like #2 and #3, beautiful picture!!
I think I like the big joy option the best!
1 or 3 get my vote!! I love Minted and their quality is great! And that photo is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS!
p.s. the “merriest” card is by my wedding invitation designer! <3
#4 and #5!!
I love love love Merriest! But I’m a bit torn by “joyful!” They’re both adorable! I am absolutely obsessed with this sneak peek from your wedding, ya’ll look jovial!
I love #1 and think it is the perfect way to express what an amazing wedding you had! That photo is gorgeous and makes me wish I was on your Christmas card list!!
Numero uno! (LOVE this photo debut!)
Beautiful picture! #2 is my favorite because the words don’compete with the picture.
I vote #2, but I seem to be in the minority! I just like the simplicity of such an obviously joyful picture saying “Joy” :)
I also love #5, and that gets the script style in there, but it seems a little off center to me.
Lovely photos!
#5!
I vote for #2 or #4. I think the portrait orientation is much nicer than landscape, so as to see your dress. Great shot!
Number 4! Also, this picture is amazing and I can’t wait to see more!!
Y’all are the best!! Thank you so much for the sweet comments! Will update you for sure once we have a final decision!
I like #5, but I seem to be in the minority…
I’m with Rob on 5! And it looks like a Christmas tree in the background. hee hee! Or number 4 is cool too.
I like 1 and 5 best… and beautiful photo, by the way!
I love 2 and 3! You are so talented and you both look amazing in the photo!
#1 or #3. You look stunning, Emily!!
1 Definitely gets my vote!! I absolutely love the sentiment and the photo! So fun to see some of your photos:)
