I adore a good tiny house, don’t you? Of course, tiny is relative, but I think all of these gems are unified by their cuteness factor.

That last one is my favorite. I just want to squeeze it!!
Upsides to small houses? Less to clean, generally less expensive, lower utility bills, general adorableness. Downsides? Not much storage, can be harder to host overnight guests.
Are you a small house kind of person?

I bought this guy last night:

I’ve been wanting a new wallet for quite some time (my five year old Vera Bradley is falling apart at the seams!), and since I’ve long been an admirer of Kate Spade’s pretty, pretty colors, I couldn’t resist this one when it went on super sale.

If you, too, are in the market for a wallet, I’d recommend checking out the Kate Spade sample sale — 75% off on select items until midnight tonight! No returns, though, so make sure you’re sure! See everything here.

Friends, even though I shared a few photos from our Valentine’s Day party, I completely forgot to tell you about the invitations! Since I was only making four, I could go all out with the handmade details, and I did! Here they are:

I printed the text in black and white on watercolor paper, then penned in hearts in black ink. I then watercolored over the hearts with pink and red, and backed the invites with deep red cardstock.

I had some pink and white baker’s twine lying around that made a perfect “belly band” of sorts.

The finishing touch was the watercolor envelope liners. I scanned the sheet of paper that I used to test the watercolor strokes while coloring the hearts, then printed a few pages and cut them to size. Voila!
In case you missed my post about the party, the photos are right here!

Oh goodness, y’all. I didn’t complete ANY of my February goals. That’s a bit embarrassing, but I’m committed to being honest here, so there it is.
To recap, these were my goals:
– Finish the biography of John Adams I’m reading (for no. 61)
– Print out a favorite poem and commit to reading it every night as I brush my teeth (for no. 56)
– Design and print Em for Marvelous return address labels for Etsy store (for no. 76)
– Order my Warby Parker glasses now that I’ve returned my try on pairs (for no. 95)
I’ve been steadily working my way through John Adams, but it’s 752 pages! Yeesh. I almost ordered my glasses, but then I realized I need a glasses prescription (not a contacts prescription) from my eye doctor, which I’m still working on getting.

On to March goals! We are having several sets of house guests this month, so I want to be pretty conservative with my goal setting. In March, I plan to:
— Finish the biography of John Adams (for no. 61)
— Make a Basket of Hope through my church for Easter (for no. 3)*
— Order my glasses! (for no. 95)
If you’ve posted about your March goals, post a comment below – I’d love to check them out!
*Last year my church put together more than 1,100 of these special Easter baskets. This year, we have 1,300 basket requests. If you live in the Triangle area and would like to put together a basket, I would be happy to connect you/deliver your basket/etc. Just email me!
