How were all of your weekends? I went to the flea market with my buddy M and finally bit the bullet on the chair I’ve been wanting to take home for months (see: no. 24 on my 101 list!). Yay! It’s in great condition (though a bit dusty), and at just $60 stacks up well to these lovelies on the Pottery Barn site (which retail for $400!!).

Here it is after I dragged it up three flights of stairs to our apartment:

Stay tuned for my plans for it!
We also stopped into an adorable tea room filled with delightful things. I had to restrain myself. A few pieces that caught my eye:

Pineapple tea bag holder (which I would use as a spoon rest and found here online)

A white-on-white pineapple planter

Distressed trophy cups

Adorable vintage-reproduction hankies. M snatched up a few of these for her bridesmaids’ bouquets. I love this idea! See how cute?

I know we’re not quite into spring yet, but I couldn’t resist putting together this soft pink and green board to drive back the winter doldrums. This wedding would be all about tiny, delicate touches — sweet poppers at each place setting, a softly shaded bouquet, a wreath of the most fragile spring blooms. And, of course, a cluster of AMAZING, oversize crepe paper flowers. Check out the DIY here!

Have you ever seen such a lovely and sophisticated application of pink in a wedding invitation? Not I. The gold edging, the Memoriam font, the fact that the bride and groom built them together… love it all.

And now back to our regularly scheduled programming! You’ve seen some of my favorite wedding dresses before, but this is the newest darling that has caught my heart.

It’s a Monique Lhuillier, photographed beautifully by Braedon Weddings. Gorgeous!
