Now that I finally have some free time {just a little bit!}, I’m excited to try my hand at some more projects. This teacup chandelier to start: isn’t it darling? The muted but not overly sweet colors make me swoon – I’m picturing it in a shaded side porch or a petite washroom.
P.S. Not feeling brave enough to attempt this on your own? Got $950 to burn? You can pick one of these babies up on Etsy, instead.

Later this week: an inspiration board, an interview outfit, a little crafty craft, and – oh yes! – Rosecliff photos!

I love seeing the workspaces and inspiration of others. J. Crew has a beautiful slideshow up right now featuring a behind-the-scenes view of a few of their designers. Check it out here.

Egg Press, a fabulous letterpress studio out of Oregon, is celebrating 10 years in business with an online sample sale! $10 will buy you ten different letterpress cards hand picked by owner Tess Darrow and her lovely team. No two sets are exactly the same, and matching envelopes are included.
What a steal! 10 cards for $1 each? And letterpressed at that? Count me in. If you’re interested, too, purchase a set here!
In the meantime, check out some of Egg Press’ other designs…

Thanks Rachel!

If you’ve loved yesterday and today’s silhouettes as much as I have, and are now in the market for one or two of your own, I’ve got some resources for you!
First up, The Man himself, at least in the world of silhouettes. He’s been featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, as well as in the wedding of M & C (featured here). Here he is cutting away at Katie and Ian’s wedding:

And here is the link to his company, Cut Arts.
Besides Karl there are so many fabulous artisans out there making innovative silhouettes, like this one made from wood by Jenny Lee Fowler…

… or this one of patterned paper by Bitty Starr.

Or, if you’d prefer to go the DIY route, Mrs. Green Tea just wrote up a super-informative tutorial on making your own silhouettes and using them in graphic design projects. Check it out here.
