Covet! Covet! I am constantly in turmoil over the best way to store my recipes (hmmm, sound familiar?) but I think I could commit to a system if that system happened to come in the form of this darling lacquered box from sugar paper. What do you think?

My Christmas cards! Or, at least one version of them (I made three this year). These definitely have a handmade quality to them, but I actually love that you can tell I cut the circles by eye. Also, the colors are a nice twist on traditional red and green, don’t you think?

I woke up early today to see Nie on the Today show. She is quite inspiring. One of many sreason I like her? She makes a silhouette of each member of her family every year. Isn’t that a beautiful way to record change, especially in children? She’s also recently resumed making silhouettes for sale. If you’re interested, see more here! You couldn’t be supporting a more worthy person, and I think one would make a lovely Christmas gift!
