Today’s Christmas inspiration board is much darker than yesterday’s, but I like it! The nice thing about this scheme is that natural elements play a huge role — so, instead of buying tons of store-bought decor, collect pinecones and evergreen boughs, add in some shiny jewel tone ornaments and rich velvet or satin ribbon, and you’re well on your way!

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted an inspiration board — my apologies! I’m feeling very inspired by summer right now, so this board is all about that, with lovely tones of grass green, white, and cafe au lait. I also went for everything ruffly and fluffy, from a tiered gown, to tulle-covered tables, to a sheer-skirted cake table.

As I was putting this inspiration board together I was reminded of this poem, one of my favorites. This mix of beautiful soft sunrise colors would be perfect for a wedding ceremony at daybreak — or, at least, on a summer morning :) The best part? An early ceremony leaves the rest of the day to celebrate.
