Board No. 44: Orange Sherbet

The bouquet-and-bridesmaid combo in the top left corner inspired this board’s fun, playful vibe. I chose a bold, graphic cake and clusters of mod-looking blooms to keep the reception punchy. A short dress and orange heels for the bride (as well as carrot cake cupcakes for the guests) are in order, don’t you think?

Good afternoon, my lovelies! Aren’t the photos above just magical? Lisa Vorce made these oversize pennants for the couple’s sunset, oceanside destination wedding {see more here}. I think she made a great choice in using the sheer fabric – it just seems to blend seamlessly with the waves and sky, adding to instead of detracting from the natural environment.

I’ve got some more flag-spiration coming up for you later this week (remember that project I mentioned for the apartment?). I also have an inspiration board in the works, but that’s won’t be going up until later this evening.

Until then!

We’ve Moved!

Didn’t you know?

Well, if you read this blog you probably did, and if you’re a member of my family or my friend you probably did, too, but that didn’t stop me from crafting some moving announcements last weekend.

And because Amber suggested more tie-ins to my Etsy shop when I asked for your thoughts last week, if you, too, are moving, you can purchase your own set for $1.50 each right here!

What do you think? Would you ever send paper moving announcements in this era of email, Facebook, and cell phones?
