Wedding day emergency kit
Hello, friends! I’ve had a whirlwind two weeks! (I feel as though I’ve been saying that a lot lately…) I can’t wait to tell you all about my adventures – a wedding in Maine, my bachelorette, my bridal shower, a wedding in Newport, another week in Maine – but right now I’m focusing on the final big event in the near future – John’s sister’s wedding! It’s just five days away, and we’re all bursting with excitement. Fingers crossed for great weather on Sunday!! While I get my thoughts and photos organized, I did want to share with you a post I’ve been working on for quite some time. It’s my take on the wedding day prep kit. I think it’s a great idea for every gal to have one with her on her wedding day – if you’ve hired a wedding planner/coordinator, it’s almost certain she’ll bring one with her, but if not, it’s probably something you should compile yourself. I know I’ll be bringing mine with me on Sunday! Solid perfume | pain reliever | wipes | snacks (perfect for post-portraits, pre-ceremony) | water bottles | blotting film | bandaids | bobby pins | a lint roller | deodorant | safety pins | white chalk (for coloring over small stains on white fabric, like a wedding gown!) | a travel sewing kit | corsage pins | clear nail polish (for stalling snags) | travel tissue packs | a nice pen (for signing cards or a marriage license, or supplementing the guest book) | mints (not gum) | shout to go wipes | fashion tape Would you add anything to this kit
