One of my very favorite things — perhaps my actual no. 1 favorite thing — about outdoor evening weddings is the lighting possibilities. From votives, to hurricanes, to lanterns and string lights, there’s just something so warm, inviting, and celebratory about light shining out of the darkness.

Have y’all noticed that donuts seem to be everywhere at weddings these days? Part of me is happy about this (because I love donuts) and part of me is sad (because now if I include them in our wedding, maybe I’ll feel like I’m just jumping on the bandwagon). Either way, I thought I’d share some of my favorite donut wedding inspiration for you this fine morning :)

I am a big fan of fruit elements in wedding florals. BIG fan. I like all sorts — lady and crab apples, cherry tomatoes, figs — but am especially partial to blackberries and raspberries. I’m hoping to incorporate blackberries into our wedding day style, and here’s some of the inspiration I’m using!

Hellebores are one of my new favorite flowers. (They’re also known as the Christmas rose.) They’re one of the few winter and early spring blooming plants, which unfortunately means I probably won’t be able to get them for our wedding in September — but that’s great news for cold weather brides! Here’s what these pretty flowers look like:

They come in lots of white, pink, green, and purple shades, and can be solid or speckled. Here are a few of my favorite arrangements with hellebores:
