Wasn’t she gorgeous? I’d love to be able to make my hair look like that everyday (it’s about her length), but I suppose I could be content with it just for special occasions. I have a wedding to attend in October (more about that soon), and I think this is my new hair-spiration for the evening.

What do you think — doable? Luckily Sister P&P will be in town to help (she’s the one who got all of the hair genes).

I may not be able to afford all of the crewcuts pieces I love (or fit into them, but who’s counting?). These boots, however, I could swing. $35 at Old Navy, but don’t they look like the real thing? I would wear them tucked into jeans or leggings or with a striped cotton dress or… oh, you already know.

…wedding dress. Here’s another one to add to my list. Though I don’t think I would ever wear a short dress, they continue to tempt me. This little number from Steven Birnbaum’s collection for Birnbaum & Bullock is particularly sweet, with its box pleated skirt and satin belt. (Of course it’s named the Audrey.)
