Master camping packing list
Curious about camping but concerned about your creature comforts? Do like we do and bring it all! :) We keep this master packing list in a Google Doc that’s shared between the two families, and we mark things off as we pack them so we’re as efficient as possible. The only thing that’s not really covered on here is food, which we handle separately, splitting up the meals between us.
Download the list here. I hope you find it helpful, and happy camping!!

For a would-be first time camper, this is so helpful! Thank you for sharing :) Have you ever camped in New England?
Hi Kyla! I didn’t really grow up camping, and haven’t had too much chance to camp in New England as a grown-up, but we did do an amazing (strenuous!) hike in the White Mountains and stayed in a Randolph Mountain Club cabin (Crag Camp) on top of Mt. Adams. The view was absolutely breathtaking!!
What, you don’t count sleeping in a tent out on our lawn to be “camping in New England”?!
Hi Em. This is fantastic. We took our little boy camping with us when he was 3 months. He loved it because we took so many walks with him in the carrier! He could see everything. Next time I will be sure to use this list to help us :-)
Hi Emily, long time reader here who is finally ready to try camping after posts like yours! It looks like the link expires to your sleeping bag. I was wondering what it was called? All my childhood camping experiences I was cold, so Im willing to splurge to be comfortable. Thanks for your time!
